The Supernatural Sabbath Portal to the Kingdom of Heaven...Paul Blocked Gentiles From It

Image
"But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in" (Matthew 23:13). When we practice the Sabbath properly, that is to say, lay aside our work and toils, our buying and selling, our concerning ourselves with the acquisition of money or provision, we actually go through a spiritual door (or portal) that leads out of this world into the Kingdom of Heaven, into a place, for a day, where the judgment on Adam, that is to say, that he would work and toil to pull his food from the earth by the sweat of his brow (Genesis 3:17-19), doesn't apply.   On the Sabbath, we are in a place of rest as the Father was on the 7th day of His creation week. A place where we can understand more fully the words of Jesus when He said to, "...seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:33), ...

Jesus Instills Faith/Trust in the Father as Provider; Paul Instills Fear

Image
One thing you can be sure about Paul's writings: you can cherry pick from them all sorts of ideas on the same overarching subject and come up with multiple, even contradicting, viewpoints. For example, when it comes to the subject of money and provision, Paul wrote to Timothy, “For the love of money is the root of all evil:” (Is the love of money, or pride, the root of evil?  Satan's first sin was pride, which led to greed, but I digress.) In the midst of Paul's admonition, he says we ought to be content with our circumstances  and not be concerned with becoming rich, which can lead to a snared life and perdition. This passage, in my view, contains many truths that coincide with what our attitude should be toward money and provision.  Being content and grateful in any circumstance, not worrying for tomorrow, trusting the Father for today as Jesus taught in Matthew 6, is by all means the best place to be spiritually and psychologically when it comes to walking through this...

Famous Catholic Converts: Controlled Opposition / Candace Owens, Russell Brand, Carrie Prejean Boller

Image
Join Doug today at 2:45pm (Monday, May 11, 2026) as he discusses the multiple recent high profile conversions to Catholicism by seemingly hyper intelligent and super well "informed" people, including Candace Owens, who has also said that the recently deceased (or, is he?) Charlie Kirk was beginning to convert himself,  as well as Russell Brand, and Carrie Prejean Boller.  Piers Morgan has always claimed Catholicism though his viewpoints are often extremely secular.  And while Tucker claims protestantism, he has no problem in his somewhat ecumenical approach to include and promote Catholics, which serves to normalizes this faith that is so counter to the teachings of Jesus. These are some of the stalwarts of the independent media “Truther” movement, but they are also part of a greater movement to dilute what it means to follow Jesus, that is to say, in avoidance of Jesus’s edict, “If ye love me keep my commandments,” they lead those ignorant of His Word right back into t...
