When Well Meaning People Parrot Paul's Lies


Join Doug at 5:45 pm this evening (Monday, June 17, 2024) for a live stream podcast discussing how disturbing and sad it is to hear people who want to think and communicate logically try to distill and explain the Gospel with Paul's teachings included.  You'll see from a video that is presented in the podcast just such a person, who is trying to represent the Father the best he can, but can't help but parrot the lies of Paul (especially from Romans, Ephesians and Galatians) that confuse the Gospel and make it appear that the Father saves unrepentant sinners who are willfully continuing in sin.


You can see the confusion on his face because he knows there must be consequences for sin and that a person living in abject sin and purposely hurting others (as his wife is doing to both him and his children in family court) cannot truly be a Christian but at the same time he says that the people living in sin are still saved, because, well,  according to some Paul's writings and the ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED lying false gospel, we can be in sin because all have sinned (but Jesus and John the Baptist preached repentance). And, As Paul has put it, we are saved only by faith, lest we could boast of our works. Though James, in his epistle goes directly against this false teaching.


 Paul also comes very close to saying in Romans, if it weren't for the law he wouldn't sin, and he seems to say that  it's the attending to the law that actually brings to our minds the lust of sin and the law itself will stir up the sin in us.  Instead of "the devil made me do it," Paul would almost say, "the law made me do it." And then after making such an explanation, Paul then has the temerity to say, "Do we do away with the law? No way!@  We establish it." The guy flip flops like a seal on a dock and leaves his readers in a state of having their minds scrambled by the whisk that is his false doctrines.


The confusing word salad of Paul's writings do not in any way parallel the simple and easily understood words of Jesus found in the Gospels and the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, nor does Paul's writings match those of the Apostle John nor of the epistle ascribed to James.  


In today's podcast, we will again show how clear what Jesus and His first hand eye witnesses stated the Gospel to be, and how to be sure you're walking with the Father and the Son (by keeping the Commandments) and how Paul's teachings, in which He contradicts Jesus and the Apostle John, and even himself with his spiritual spaghetti thrown at the wall to see which false doctrine will stick, will only serve to confuse those who try to preach the Gospel with the leaven of Paul's false teachings mixed in.

One thing you can be sure about Paul's writings: you can cherry pick from them all sorts of ideas on the same overarching subject and come up with multiple, even contradicting, viewpoints. For example, when it comes to the subject of money and provision, Paul wrote to Timothy, “For the love of money is the root of all evil:” (Is the love of money, or pride, the root of evil?  Satan's first sin was pride, which led to greed, but I digress.) Seven Reasons Acts is a Provable Hoax

Are the Lunar Sabbatarian's "Pause & Reset Days" Biblical?

Join Doug this evening at 7:15pm EST (Wed, Jan 22, 2025) https://youtube.com/live/6G-W8bOnDwg?feature=share on the JesusNotPaul/Acts channel for a podcast discussion surrounding the recent phenomena of the rise of those who say the Sabbath must be honored according to the moon phases, rather than every seventh day consecutively.  This is because the lunar calendar month is 29.5 days in length, while four seven day weeks only comprise 28.  This means the extra 1.5 days per month have to go somewhere, so to keep with the lunar phases one or two spacer, "pause & reset" days are added which means the first week to start a new month, the sabbath could occur on the eighth or ninth day, ultimately breaking the Father's order of every seventh day of each week.  No where in the scriptures is it ever implied there would literally be monthly skip days inserted to stay on a lunar calendar.  The conjecture and projection it takes for lunar sabbatarians to convince themselves...
